Our Bees at the Foxhollow

So far, as of March 2023, our bees are swarms that have sought out a fine place to live and decided to stay.

Consequently, in Beekeeping terms, our bees are local; they have no particular designation i.e: Buckfast or Carniolan.

As our bees are of local stock we hope that they are well aclimatised and have good hive memory of the loacl area and the forrage resources available throughout the year.

As with all folks aiming to rear Honey Bees, we want our bees to be vigorous, strong and as self reliant as possible.
